Our name is on the line
Sure we could call our business “DFW Plastics”, “Dallas Custom Thermoforming” or similar but since 1977 we have proudly put our name on the line: Hill Plastics. We pride ourselves on being large enough to meet the exacting demands and volume needs of OEM manufacturers, aerospace companies, telecommunications providers, entrepreneurs, engineers and others looking for high quality custom vacuum thermoforming and plastic fabrication services. Yet, we maintain our personal approach where Brad Hill and Cody Hill personally oversee all engineering, sales and operations. They can take care of your project needs including product design and advice on material selection. Hill Plastics continues to be a financially solid company employing up to 25 production employees right here in Texas, some of which have been with the company over 20 years.
Quality and competitive pricing is part of the Hill philosophy
We deliver the highest quality with highly competitive pricing. We keep our overheads low and our quality control process tight without the excessive costs of ISO 9001, exceeding exacting requirements and tolerances of manufacturers including aerospace companies and radome telecommunications installations. We have the equipment and team to produce everything from the smallest prototype or small batch run with minimal setup costs to large volumes of thousands of items per day. Contact Brad or Cody to discuss how we can help you.
“Where there is a Hill there is a way”
WWII veteran aviator and Brad’s father Eldon Hill (1919 – 2015) returned from the war with a vision how plastics demand would grow. Eldon purchased what was one of the first commercial thermoforming machines in the southwest and was President of the Society of Plastics Engineers. After years of experience he founded Dallas Plastics Inc in 1968 before the successful company was sold in 1976. Sons Brad Hill and Jack Hill grew up working in the business and from early on Eldon instilled key wisdoms including:
• Treat customers like we would like to be treated
• Do it right the first time
• Anticipate and resolve potential production issues ahead of time
Eldon’s motto “where there’s a Hill there is a way” would inspire and lead to a family history in plastic thermoforming and fabrication. Jack Hill (1951 – 2007) established Hill Plastics in 1977 and brought Eldon and Brad onboard. Cody, the third generation in the business and Jack’s son has been leading the business with automating processes, developing expertise in new product development and advancing CAD and CAM technologies. Jack’s daughter Aubrey Schultz with her organizational skills and customer service rounds out the family team to continue the philosophy of serving customers with quality at a highly competitive price.
